1 - Cap in Bottle

The magician shows an empty bottle of beer and an ordinary cap. He puts the cap inside the bottle, and shows it to the audience. Then he takes the cap out and hands it out for examination. After putting the cap inside again, he gives the bottle with the cap inside to the spectators, and asks them to try to take it out. Everybody fails!!!

The magician takes the bottle and removes the cap. And as a finale (if he wishes) he gives the bottle with the cap inside as a present to one of the spectators.

Great idea, great gimmick!!!

2 - THE BUTTON

The magician starts his show with a 2 ¼ round button pinned on his lapel. He shows this button to everyone. The button can have a logo, your picture, your name, or whatever you like on it. A card is then selected from a deck and placed face down on a spectator’s hand. When the card is turned over the spectator finds it has got the logo or picture that was previously shown on the button and the button now has the picture of the selected card on it. Everything can be examined by the spectators. The button is pinned in full view throughout the entire effect.

 3 - CRAYON PRODUCER

Rey Ben has created a beautiful idea for producing cigarettes or crayons. Basically, you show your hands empty and then produce six crayons (or cigarettes) one at a time without your hands going near your body. As a finale, you reach into the air and produce the crayon box (or cigarette pack). This little gimmick has no moving parts yet will release one cigarette or crayon at a time from your sleeve just by dropping the hand. The gimmick is covered with the crayon box cover or cigarette pack wrapper so that at the end of the production, when you produce the pack of cigarettes or crayons, you are actually producing the gimmick. This leaves you completely clean at the end of the effect. Great idea!

5 - MC BEN´S ACES

This is a very clever gimmick that Rey Ben has created to perform the classic four ace assembly. The basic effect is this: the magician puts four aces face down on the table. Then he places any other three cards onto each ace. The ace of the spades pile is picked up and the cards are spread showing the ace of spades and the three other cards. These cards are slid into the card box (which has been previously checked by a spectator to show it is empty). The other three aces on the table disappear, and the four aces are found to be inside the card box. This is a very clever gimmick.

6 - REYSING CARD

This is a new way to perform a classic!!!

Three cards are chosen at random by the spectators. The magician takes the rest of the cards and puts these three back in the deck one by one. He riffles the cards and magically the first chosen card appears. Then he pushes it in the deck again and the second chosen card appears from below. Finally, after pushing it in the deck the last chosen card appears from above. Very simple, very safe, nice to see and follow. Special gimmick makes the hard work for you.

7 - LASER CARD

Here is a great card effect. Read this carefully..... The magician has a young lady freely select any card from a deck. She shows the card front and back to the audience and then returns it to the deck. She then freely selects any gentleman from the audience and asks him his name. He is then told to imagine the first letter of his name and imagine drawing that letter on the back of a card. The magician then removes the SAME deck from the box, goes through and finds the lady's card. It is turned over and the man's first letter of his name is printed on the back of her selected card. The card can be examined freely.

8 - Silk in Bottle

This trick can be performed with any bottles in any place.

Effect:

1) The magician takes an empty bottle and gives it to someone for examination, then he hits the bottom of the bottle and a silk appears inside the bottle!!! He immediately gives the bottle with the silk (inside) to someone for inspection.

Other effects:

2) The magician shows a silk in his right hand and an empty bottle in his left hand, he hits the bottle with the silk and it disappears from his hand and appears inside the bottle in his left hand. Immediately afterwards, he gives the bottle with the silk to someone for examination.

3) The magician has one bottle in each hand. The bottle in his right hand has a silk inside, whereas the one in his left hand is empty. Then, he shakes the bottles and the silk travels from the bottle in the right hand to the bottle in the left hand. He immediately gives the bottles out for examination.

4) The magician puts a silk into a little dark jar, closes it and gives it to a spectator (child or adult). Then, he shows an empty bottle and asks the helper who has the jar, to pretend to take out the silk and throw it into a bottle, then it appears inside the bottle in the magician’s hand. Finally, he opens the jar and checks that it is empty. Everything can be given out for examination.

9 - TRIPLE CARD CHANGE
(from Bob McAllister´s Idea)

(from Bob McAllister’s idea)

Effect:

The magician forces two cards. Then, he wraps the deck with a borrowed dollar bill and shows the deck to the audience, everybody can see that the bottom card isn’t any of the cards chosen by the spectator. Then he pushes the deck down in his hand from below to appear. One of the selected cards starts to appear from below (without doing any strange movement). While the magician pushes the deck up again, the second chosen card appears from above.

He unwraps the deck and returns the dollar bill to the lender, his hands are empty! (The bottom card changes three times by only pushing the deck up and down with the dollar bill around the deck.

10 - Coin Collector

Effect:

The magician has a pin showing a lot of coins from different countries on his lapel. Then he gives a spectator five cards showing one coin from a different country each, and asks him to shuffle them. And finally, he shows an envelope with a prediction inside. The helper puts the shuffled cards face down in a row on the table. The magician and the spectator discard the cards, one at a time, until ONLY ONE is left on the table. He turns it and finds out that it is the “Chinese coin”. Then the magician suggests the spectator open the envelope and read the prediction in a loud voice. When everybody expects him to read “You will choose the Chinese coin”, the spectator reads: “Look at the Magician’s Button”, then they look at it finding out that the button has “only a big Chinese coin” printed on it.

11 - Silk in Balloon

Effect:

A new way to perform a classic: The silk balloon.

The magician makes a silk disappear by any well known technique, then he takes a transparent blown up balloon and shows the audience it is empty. Instantly, the silk appears inside the balloon. He bursts out the balloon and takes the silk out. (If you like, the balloon can be held by a “partenaire”)

Similar to the SILK IN BOTTLE but larger (to hold a bigger silk)

12 - Diminishing Newspaper

Effect:

The magician opens a newspaper sheet, reads it, closes it and throws it away with his right hand. However, when he looks at his left hand the newspaper is still there, but it’s been reduced to its half. The magician is surprised by it, anyway reads, closes and throws it away again. But again, in his left hand he has an even smaller newspaper. He repeats the action one more time and again in his left hand he has an even smaller one (2x2,5 inches). He tries to read, but it is difficult, then he shakes the tiny newspaper and it gets back to its full size, as it was at the beginning!!

13 - Vodkard

Effect:

The magician shows an empty clear hipflask. Then cover it with a handkerchief and give it to hold by a spectator. Then a card are chosen and magical it flies from the magician hands to inside the hipflask !!!! Finally the magicians shake the bottle top down and the card fall down on the table !!!!
